About the event
Our Junteenth Festival will take place in one of the most heavily populated areas in Rockland County. Memorial Park is a staple within the community and is surrounded by hundreds of businesses and residential neighborhoods.
The event will feature entertainment from local talent, food and drinks, as well as games and activities for the entire family to enjoy. This FREE event is sure to attract hundreds of diverse patrons in celebration of the Juneteenth holiday.
As natives of Rockland County, our organization has seen a shift in the financial support East Ramapo sports teams receive on an annual basis. Diminished funding has resulted in a lack of uniforms, equipment and other essentials for student-athletes in this district to truly thrive.
This year, the funds raised from our Juneteenth Celebration weekend will support our Back to School Backpack Initiative and the athletic programs for East Ramapo schools most impacted by lack of funding.
