Black Wall Street provided our culture with one of the most affluent African-American communities to date. This sophisticated and unapologetically black society consisted of banks, storefronts, hotels, movie theaters and an exceptional educational system. During the peak of this prosperous era in black history, we built each other up and supported black businesses. As we try to better the circumstances for our culture today, we should look to various ways in which we can support and uplift each other. Let's revive Black Wall Street!
